OPEN MIKE

NIGHT

The recent open mike night at the Dukes Head on Saturday 2nd April was a great success. We were joined by some fantastic singers and guitarists with real talent, who all put in brilliant perfromances.

It was also a magnificent highlight to see Geoff make a return for a couple of songs. Everyone was so proud of him, and it was really encouraging to see him well on the road to recovery.

Our New Guitarist

We are pleased to introduce our new Lead guitarist Rob, who will be taking over from Geoff until he's ready to get back up on stage

Geoff Latest 

As some of you may know, our guitarist Geoff has been seriously ill for several months now after suffering a stroke and a brain aneurysm, and has been unable to perform with the band.

A successful operation has taken place and he's now on the road to recovery, but it's going to take some time as he is still suffering with some short term memory loss.

Band members are visiting Geoff regularly to provide help and encouragement in his recuperation, and he's started to pick the guitar up again, so we hope he will be well enough to make a guest appearance in the near future.

The bands thoughts and best wishes go out to Geoff, his family and friends, and we all hope that he's makes a swift recovery.
